Eleventh Hour Productions was founded in 1998 by award-winning filmmaker
and playwright Chuck Rose. We are dedicated to developing and producing
innovative theatre and film that is both entertaining and thought provoking,
and to foster the work of talented artists both in front of and behind
the camera. We are proud that many of the actors that have appeared
in our productions have gone on to successful careers in part due to
the experience and exposure that we have been able to provide them.
Our first film production, the award-winning short, The Elevator, starring
Greg Ellis (who went on to star as the sinister Michael Amador on the
hit show 24), was honored as Best Short Film at the St. Louis Int’l
Film Festival and Denver World Cinema Festival. It was also and official
selection at the Toronto Short Film Festival, Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival,
AFI, Sand Diego and Tahoe film festivals. It was subsequently acquired
by IFILM and PBS.
Our first feature film, Come
As You Are was recently honored by the Gene Siskel Film Center
in Chicago as one of the year’s best new independent film comedies. It
has since been acquired by Starz Home Entertainment and is now available
on DVD.
We just completed the film Side Effects, starring Arye Gross, in conjunction
with Strike TV. It has already been selected to premiere at the
Breckenridge Film Festival in June, before launching on the new Strike
TV site later this year. For more information on Side Effects,

As part of our ongoing commitment to live theatre, we have produced
original stage plays at some of Los Angeles most prestigious theatres
including the Hudson Theatre, West Coast Ensemble, Stella Adler and
Company of Angels.
